FAQ's
1. Are your classes good for beginners?
Yes. My group classes are designed to support all fitness levels, ages, and life phases.
I provide different options for all exercises throughout the session, allowing you to work at a level that feels appropriate and safe for you. I also move around the class to offer individual guidance and support, ensuring that you know what you’re doing, how to do it properly, and why you’re doing it.
My focus is not just on completing a workout, but on helping you move with confidence while supporting your long-term health and wellbeing.
2. Can I join your classes if I have a medical issue?
Yes, unless advised otherwise by your healthcare professional (which is rare, as nowadays most encourage safe movement).
All clients, whether in group classes or One-to-One sessions, complete a Physical Activity Readiness questionnaire. This helps screen for any medical conditions, concerns, or limitations. If you have any health or medical issues, or any related concerns I will personally discuss them with you in confidence. When necessary, I may ask you to check with your own healthcare professional, or I can recommend you to a trusted professional to ensure it’s safe to start or continue your exercise program.
As part of my holistic Health & Fitness approach, I regularly collaborate (with client’s consent) with physiotherapists, GPs, psychotherapists, dieticians, neurologists, gynaecologists, and other specialized healthcare professionals. This ensures that every exercise and session is delivered safely, tailored to your individual needs, and supports your overall wellbeing.
I take long-term health very seriously, and I believe this is one of my strengths as I always viewed physical exercise through the lens of health.
3. What classes do you teach?
In my group classes (refer to Class Schedule in Services), I focus mostly on full-body workouts with a variety of formats. I like to vary the class format to keep both clients and myself motivated, and to explore what works best for each group.
For One-to-One sessions, the approach is entirely personalised and depends on the client’s goals, which may be physical, such as improving strength or mobility, or more holistic, like building confidence, learning to love your body, or creating long-term healthy habits.
4. You say your One-to-One sessions are different, how are they different?
Yes, my One-to-One sessions are quite different from standard personal training because they integrate Health Coaching from the very start. I take the time to get to know each client: their lifestyle, current challenges or stress factors, life phase, and the dynamics of their day-to-day life etc.
This ongoing understanding, reinforced through regular check-ins and accountability methods, allows me to tailor every aspect of the session – from the type of exercise and pace, to the music, ambience, and overall flow, so that it truly supports the client’s wellbeing, goals, and overall health.
5. Which location do you offer your classes?
I am not tied to one specific location, studio or gym. I currently deliver my regular group classes and One-to-One sessions primarily in central Malta.
However, I am always open to collaborating with studios or gyms that align with my Health & Fitness approach. If the space supports the way I deliver my One-to-One sessions, I’m happy to explore new locations, provided they are not in the far North or far South of Malta.
6. Do you offer packages?
For group classes, packages are offered directly by the respective studio or gym, so please contact them for more information.
For One-to-One sessions, I also offer personalised packages. Details can be found in the Services section of the website.
7. How can I book a class?
– Group classes: Please contact the respective studio or gym directly. You can find the class schedule in the Services section of the website.
– One-to-One sessions: You can book by filling in your details in the Contact Us section of the website, sending an email to hello@thewellnesszest.com, or for a quicker response, you can call or message me directly at 7985 7910 (Mon–Fri, 8am–7pm).
8. Do you offer online or hybrid options?
No, for a simple reason. My approach relies on direct, in-person interaction to ensure exercises are performed safely, to demonstrate correct posture, provide different exercise options, and educate clients on how and why to perform each movement – which is key to helping the client get the most from each session while focusing on long-term wellbeing.
